More than one million viewers saw on Thursday evening in the television program ‘Mr. Frank Visser says’ how the emotions between two neighbors in Maastricht ran high.

Miranda twice
This episode focused on a fierce neighbor quarrel between two neighbors, both named Miranda. They could drink each other’s blood. Presenter Viktor Brand paid a visit to the provincial capital, where he met the neighboring couples Miranda and Gertjan, and Miranda and Jos.
Bonje with the neighborhood
It did not click between the two neighboring couples from the very first moment. And that’s putting it mildly. What once started as minor irritations turned into fierce neighbors’ quarrels in which name calling and bullying are the order of the day. After a while, one of the Miranda’s cameras decided to hang up, because she no longer felt safe. And not only the immediate neighbors were in each other’s hair, the entire neighborhood was involved in the fight.
It was all too much for Jos
The fight started over a pink fence, but the couples have been throwing mud ever since. For example, Miranda (van Gertjan) would regularly be called out for aquarium whore in computerhoer and Jos was accused of peeking at Miranda when she was sunbathing topless in the garden. The neighbors remained in their role as victims, but when the presenter mentioned the ‘bikini thing’, Jos fell through. He stormed into his home from the street, after which he said he broke a plank in a burst of anger.

But it didn’t stop there. During the session with Mr. Frank Visser other neighbors intervened in the quarrel and that again resulted in a major shouting match. Neighbor Dave, who was also in conflict with Miranda and Gertjan, was in the room. “You are said to be quite loose-handed,” said Mr. Fisherman. “If only I had, I would have smashed her,” Dave replied. Gertjan went a step further. “Have you already done so?” He replied. Whereupon Dave jumped out of his skin in the hall. “What? Duffy, dirty, cross-eyed bastard,” was Dave’s eloquent reply.
Contact ban
Insulting back and forth never stopped, to which Mr. Visser decided to close the case and come to a decision. The couples were banned from contacting and Visser stated that Miranda’s camera should not be aimed at the neighborhood. “If the ban on contact is violated, the party must pay one hundred euros to the other party,” Visser concluded.
Viewers scratched their heads at the escalated neighbor receipt, which left a deep impression on some:
