Kuwait City: A Kuwaiti court sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen and an expatriate to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in the case of leaking high school examination papers through a WhatsApp group. Both have been jailed for 10 years each. Apart from this, both of them have to pay a fine of 482,000 Kuwaiti dinars. They leaked the exam question paper through WhatsApp group.

It is reported that they took huge amount of money to join the WhatsApp group which leaked the question papers of the secondary school examination. During the investigation, it was found that a Syrian expatriate was behind it and he was arrested. The accused confessed to the crime. They have been handed over to the concerned authorities for further legal action.

Kuwait: Extensive inspection to find traffic violations in Kuwait. 23,503 violations of traffic rules were found during the strict inspections conducted for a week from October 28. This is clarified in the figures released by the General Traffic Department.

79 violators were handed over for prosecution. 25 of them are minors. They were arrested for driving without a license. Another 54 people have committed serious traffic violations. Apart from this, 120 vehicles and motorcycles were seized. 78 arrestees were arrested, including 12 residence violators.
