Scientists call for more attention for ‘lung covid’

Six months after a corona infection, one in seven people still suffer from symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, memory and concentration problems. After a large-scale study, the federal Knowledge Center for Healthcare (KCE) is calling for more awareness. “And patients are best seen by a broad team of specialists, because today they are too often referred from one doctor to another,” says lead researcher Koen Van den Heede.
