It was the first acid test in preparation: 1. FC Köln hosted second division VfL Bochum on Tuesday afternoon. But the team from the Ruhrpott had to realize immediately that the FC had big plans in front of 200 spectators and that the two wingers Florian Kainz and Ismail Jakobs in particular started the game with a lot of joy.
It was no coincidence that they were also involved in the goals. Kainz hung up for an early lead, Jakobs was well positioned at the far post and scored to make it 1-0 (4th). And shortly before the break, Kainz increased himself to 2-0 (40th).
There is currently a third half as a training game without a regular referee.
