The professionals at 1. FC Köln are again giving up part of their salary. Sports director Horst Heldt confirmed this on Friday without specifying the scope of the waiver. In the corona crisis, it is already the third time that the professionals forego part of their salary in order to relieve the club economically.
Heldt therefore praised the team, the discussions were uncomplicated and characterized by understanding. “So it wasn’t a problem like in the past months. We always manage it well as a team,” he said.
