After the European Cup bet from FC fan Luke (20), who had a Mark Uth lettering engraved, the next Cologne supporter presents his star tattoo. This time Anthony Modeste (34)!
With his 20 goals this season, the star striker shot himself into the hearts of fans again. After his difficult return from China and loan to AS Saint-Etienne, hardly anyone would have thought that possible.
1. FC Köln fan gets a tattoo of Anthony Modeste
But Modeste not only shot his way into the hearts of Cologne, but also onto the thighs of Markus Otterbach (38). The passionate FC fan from Kerpen has had the Frenchman’s iconic glasses cheering tattooed.
On Instagram Markus says: “Yes, I actually did it. The statement was: If FC plays internationally, there is a tattoo. Not just any, but by my personal legend, Anthony Modeste. The first 12-hour session is over and I think the result is impressive.”
EXPRESS.de learned from Markus that it is not his first FC tattoo: “All my arms are full of the city coat of arms and the club logo. portraits of I already have Toni Schumacher and Hans Schäfer, so the old legends.” Now a new legend has been added!

In June 2022, Markus Otterbach from Kerpen tattooed Anthony Modeste’s iconic glasses.
Modeste herself also reacted. The 34-year-old showed his appreciation by sharing the full story on his own Instagram story.
Markus didn’t have to think long beforehand which tattoo motif it would be. He is quite sure about his Modeste celebration: “If I look at it in 20 years, I know: the boy has given FC so much and has done great things for the city and the club!”
