The football god leaves no stone unturned this season to throw 1 off course. FC Köln. But the goats stop week after week. And if they fall, they get up immediately.

Two defeats against Partizan and a bitter 2: 5 in the derby against Gladbach in one week. What does the 1. FC Cologne? He gets up and responds with a 3-2 win over FC Augsburg. The 1. FC Köln lost 5-0 at 1. FSV Mainz 05, played the Conference League match against 1. FC Slovacko, stopped after just seven minutes and postponed to the next day, and also lost Jonas Hector and Ellyes Skhiri to injury. And what are the goats doing? They bounced back, beat the Czechs and a few hours later picked up a respectable point against one of the best teams in the Bundesliga.
Despite all the adversities, the 1. FC Köln does not appear to have been defeated this season. And not only from autumn: the alleged difficulties began in the summer with the useless exit in the cup in the first round and the uncomfortable lightning change of Anthony Modeste on the first day of play. This was followed by the riots in Nice (after which FC still scored one of the best times of the season) and recurring misfortune with injuries. After the recent absence of Florian Dietz, ten FC professionals were hit, probably no longer available or available only for a short time and in difficulty at the end of the sporting year.
FC with “now more than ever” mentality.
But the 1. FC Köln is not defeated. Instead of falling apart, goats display a “right now” mentality. It is not for nothing that the people of the Cologne are also the king of the comeback of the championship and do not stray from their plan even when they are behind. Of course, the danger is great that such a structure risks collapsing at some point if the packages weighing it become too heavy. At FC, however, this structure seems far from fragile. Instead, it looks like FC would only come close to any further setbacks. And this can also lead to the possibility of getting stronger only at the end.
