Out of 125,000 votes, Farmers Market + At The Dole was recognized by the American Farmland Trust as the No. 1 in Illinois and No. 3 in the Midwest! Founded in 1980, the American Farmland Trust is a national agricultural organization committed to farmers and ranchers; work to protect our farmland, promote healthy farming practices, and keep farmers on the land. Since 2008, the American Farmland Trust has hosted the American Farmers Market Celebration to highlight the importance of supporting our local farms. Their slogan, “No farms, no food®” reminds us to buy local!
We pride ourselves on being the only farmers market, promoting our local farmers and sellers, and bringing you the freshest produce all year round! Fall is in full swing at Farmer’s Market + At The Dole! Embrace the change of seasons with the whole family every Sunday from 10am to 2pm until October 30 on the Dole Mansion lawn. From November 6 to April 2023, we will be moving Market + indoors to continue providing you with fresh local produce throughout the winter!
