1 Dead, 1 Injured in Broad Daylight Shooting in Brooklyn – NBC New York

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one man injured and another dead in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon, New York City Police said.

According to the authorities, the shooting occurred around 1:36 pm in the area of Fulton Street y Van Siclen Avenue in Cypress Hills. A 38-year-old man was shot in the torso and pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital; while a 62-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot in the hand.

The uniformed officer did not release more details about the cause of the shooting and if the victims were the target.

The suspect possibly fled on a motorcycle.

This is a case under investigation.
