In Incheon, a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) died and 18 new confirmed cases occurred.
According to the city of Incheon on the 18th, one corona19 death and 18 new confirmed cases were added.
The deceased died on the 17th while undergoing treatment at the hospital as a confirmed patient on the 5th of this month after being tested for suspected corona19 symptoms.
The new confirmed cases are Incheon 3562~3579.
By region, there were 5 in Yeonsu-gu, 4 in Michuhol, 2 in Seo-gu, 2 in Gyeyang-gu, 2 in Namdong-gu, 2 in Jung-gu, and 1 in Bupyeong-gu.
By cause of infection, there was 1 group infection-related, 14 contacts with existing confirmed cases, 2 unknown routes of infection, and 1 overseas entry.
One person from Gyeyang-gu nursing hospital was involved in group infection. One additional confirmed case from this nursing hospital was added, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases from this infected area totaled 71.
As they were further confirmed, the total number of cumulative confirmed cases in the region was 3579.
The quarantine authorities are conducting epidemiological investigations on additional confirmed cases.
