SEOUL, March 24 (Yonhap) — Tickets to K-pop girl band Twice’s concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in June have been sold out, promotion agency JYP reported Friday. Entertainment.
SoFi Stadium is a large-scale performance venue that can hold over 50,000 spectators, where Bangtan Boys (BTS) held a concert for the first time as a K-pop artist or group. Twice became the first K-pop girl band to fill SoFi Stadium and also set a record by selling all tickets to two concerts at stadiums in North America for the second year in a row, including the concert of recall at Banc of California Stadium last year.
The concert in Los Angeles will take place as part of Twice’s fifth world tour, titled “Ready To Be,” which will begin with concerts at the KSPO Dome in Jamsil, southeast Seoul, on April 15 and 16. Tickets for concerts in four other regions of North America and Australia are also sold out. Therefore, Twice is expected to add a total of six additional concerts in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, Oakland, Houston and Chicago, USA, and Toronto, Canada.
