The extension of the Ringstrasse Nord in Lenzburg and Niederlenz has been a hot topic for a long time: The first planning considerations go back to 1933, since then several projects have suffered political shipwreck. Now the two communities are trying again. The reason is the cantonal planned renovation of the Freiämterplatz (near the Malaga house) and the development of the Aabach-Nord area, as envisaged by the new Lenzburger BNO.
