The blessed minister indicated that the ministry, represented by the municipality of the southern region, put out a public bid for a plot of land that is an extension of the Independence Walk on an area of 5,000 square meters. With the aim of obtaining the largest return on investment, confirming the signing of the contract for the exploitation of the plot of land for a total amount of one million and 475 thousand and 283 dinars, according to the BOT system for a period of 30 years. The blessed minister explained that the project submitted by the investor on the municipality’s land includes the construction of playgrounds, shops, car parks, in addition to laying green areas and planting trees at the project site. The blessed minister indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain has a qualified infrastructure for the establishment of various real estate projects, as well as a system of stimulating legislation and facilitating procedures for investors in various sectors, including investment in municipal property. The blessed minister said that the development of public facilities and municipal projects in partnership with the private sector comes to enhance the role of the private sector in participating in the implementation of development projects and presenting investment opportunities, stressing the ministry’s keenness for the private sector to be an essential partner and engine for municipal and agricultural work, stressing that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture Pays great attention to partnership with the private sector in the development of municipal and service projects, and works to strengthen them in order to provide the best services of the highest quality.
