1.4 Million Euro Health House Project to Expand Medical Services in Sarras

1.4 million euro project for a new 390 m2 building with 9 offices, 2 doctors, a midwife, a nurse and a cardiovascular rehabilitation room.

With the reduction in doctors in the town, only the doctors Arhancet and Mondon are left in Sarras at the moment, compared to four a few years ago.

A joint project between the city and health professionals

After a period of reflection between elected officials, pharmacists and doctors, the creation of a health house multi-professional (BPA) that will be built between the two paramedical practices in the city to create a coherent whole.

A health center consisting of three buildings

This allows doctors who want to join an already established team. This is a joint project between the city, the director of the real estate project, and the city’s health professionals who created an association and drafted a health project confirmed by the ARS. This project is the result of collaboration.

The three buildings health house there will be a common entrance and a large room in the building that will be built as a rest area and meeting room not only for professionals working in the health center but also in the adjacent buildings. Existing car parks will be reserved for patients and parking at the rear will be allocated to practitioners. A water collection basin will be created nearby on the other side of the town road.

The building will have a useful surface area of ​​approximately 390 m2. Of the 9 offices to be created, 6 have already been chosen: the 2 doctors working in the town have agreed to move their offices to the building in the future as well as the nurses’ office, wife – a midwife, a dietitian and a large room in mind. to cardiovascular rehabilitation, which will be a modern thing. The total cost of the project will be around €1,400,000 excluding tax, which will be financed with the support of the town community, the Department, the Department and the State. Earthworks will begin this Monday and will be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
