The SV Guntamatic Ried no longer has the promotion in their own hands: The Innviertel had had eight points ahead at the restart after the Corona break – six games and four defeats later there is a risk of falling from the top of the table in the 2nd football league. After the 1: 3 in the derby against Blau-Weiß Linz, Klagenfurt can pass on Sunday with a win at Vorwärts Steyr (10.30 a.m.). “I have no words,” said substitute captain Ziegl. “It’s a matter of the head now.”
Ried coach Baumgartner made five changes in the starting eleven compared to 2: 3 at FC Juniors OÖ, the uncertainty remained. A long pass over the defense was enough for the outsider to take the lead: Pomer left Obermüller, Dmitrovic, who replaced Kreidl in goal, could not prevent the 0-1 (22nd).
