1.07 million euros for an educational project

Oldenburg

Stephan Albani, chairman for education and research of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group and Thorsten Janßen, director of the Federal Technology Center for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (BFE) gave the starting shot for the promising vocational training project “BexElektro”.

“With BexElektro, the SFOE has set up a modular vocational training concept for electromobility that takes the most modern requirements into account. Crafts, industry, manufacturing companies and social partners are closely networked to enable training that covers everything that is necessary on the market and in everyday working life, ”said Albani. From his point of view, it is particularly important that, in addition to the digital components, the new training and further education offers enable educational paths that build on one another.

Director Thorsten Janßen added: “Our aim is to noticeably increase the attractiveness of vocational training for young professionals and employees in neighboring industries.” To this end, the SFOE forged new cooperation formats between manufacturers and training providers. New digital offers will be established for schoolchildren of all ages and training and further education content will be able to be adapted to technological developments much more quickly. To this end, the SFOE formed a cluster with partners from Baden-Württemberg and Dresden as well as in the region.
