correct, 0patch does not replace (executable) files, but works “on the fly” completely in memory. Besides the small performance impact and the fact that you already lose any vendor warranties, you have a process that makes (validated! (?)) changes at runtime than any other process.
It seems to me that it’s still better to follow product lifecycles, do expensive updates/upgrades than to use something like this (with abbo costs and no risk really covered(?))
Experience shows that sometimes all means are necessary and good, but there is nothing in me that would recommend anyone to happily switch to Windows *unsupported version* until 2025, including cool tools like this one.
