The spread of wildfires that began today (21st) afternoon in Andong and Yecheon, Gyeongbuk, has not stopped.
The forestry and fire departments have issued steps 2 and 1 respectively.
The fire started at around 3:20 pm in a hill in Mangcheon-ri, Imdong-myeon, Andong-si.
Helicopters and fire trucks are being used to extinguish fires, but forest fires are spreading through the wind.
Firefighting authorities in Gyeongnam, Daegu, Ulsan, Changwon, Chungnam, Daejeon, and Busan have decided to use 5% of manpower to fight forest fires.
Andong City ordered the residents of Jungpyeong-ri, Imdong-myeon to evacuate.
Route 34 was also controlled around the Sugok Bridge area near the Imdong-myeon office.
Around 4:12 PM, a fire broke out in Yecheon-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Yecheon-myeon.
There was also a forest fire spreading from the wind, so nearby residents were evacuated.
