[핫픽뉴스]Netflix’s ‘Black and White Chef’ is in first place in the non-English TV series category

The popular entertainment show Black and White Chef premiered in the Netflix Global Top Ten TV non-English category.

According to Netflix on the 25th, ‘Black and White Chef’ was in first place in the non-English TV series category, recording 3.8 million views (views, viewing time divided by playback time) from the 16th to 22nd

‘Black and White Chef’ is a survival program in which 80 chefs known as ‘black spoons’ and 20 chefs known as ‘white spoons’, who are relatively well known, compete in the cooking competitions in different ways to win or lose.

Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, and Seoul chef Ahn Seong-jae appeared as judges, and famous chefs such as Yeo Kyeong-rae, Choi Hyun-seok, Edward Lee, Jeong Ji-seon, and Oh Se-deuk appeared like ‘White Spooners’.

The amazing cast and the large filming location around 1,000 pyeong, where 40 people can cook at the same time, attracted attention.

The 12-episode ‘Black and White Chef’ currently has 7 episodes, with new episodes released every Tuesday.

The judge, chef Ahn Seong-jae, is Korea’s only three-star Michelin chef. He is attracting attention from viewers with his culinary philosophy and glowing reviews from judges.

As black and white chefs became a hot topic, parodies were made everywhere, so it would not be true to say that he was a black and white chef.
