[정치]YTN Busan Mayor’s Opinion Survey…Nomination and Election Structure’Opposition Advantage’

Four months ahead of next year’s re-election, which is called the preliminary war for the presidential election, YTN looked at the public sentiment of Busan.

Among the candidates for the mayor of Busan, former lawmaker Park Hyung-joon, the power of the people, took the first place, far beyond the margin of error, and it was found that the regime’s judgment theory was dominant in the election structure.

Reporter Director General Reporter reports the results of the public opinion poll conducted by YTN in cooperation with the Busan Ilbo by commissioning Real Meter.

Up to now, about 10 people, including the opposition parties, have cast votes in the Busan mayoral elections or have become candidates for Jacheontacheon.

For these, YTN commissioned Real Meter together with the Busan Ilbo to investigate candidate suitability.

First of all, looking at the results selected by political party, the Democratic Party was greatly outspoken by the National Assembly Secretary-General Kim Young-chun, Byun Seong-wan, acting as the acting mayor of Busan.

In the power of the people, former lawmaker Park Hyung-jun received much higher support than former lawmaker Lee Eon-ju, second place.

However, in a survey of both parties, both the first and second place are candidates for the people’s strength.

In particular, Rep. Park, who ranked first with 27.4%, not only exceeded the margin of error, but also received more than twice as much support as Lee and Secretary General Kim, who ranked second and third side by side.

As the election was held due to the sexual harassment of former Mayor Oh Geo-don, the election district is also favorable to the opposition party.

More than half of the public opinion that the opposition party should be supported to judge the government’s ruling party was 59.5%, and 33.3% said that the ruling party should be empowered for stable state administration.

The political party support of the citizens of Busan also largely knocked out the Democratic Party, which had 36.6% of the people’s strength, and 23%, with a difference of 13.6%p, which is outside the margin of error.

The main issues that the next Mayor of Busan wished for were the promotion of the new airport on Gadeok Island and the balanced development of East and West Busan.

The survey was conducted on 1,028 voters aged 18 and over living in Busan for two days starting on the 22nd.
