North Korea adopted the nuclear and economic flanking policy at the Labor Party plenary meeting in March 2013, during the early days of President Kim Jong-un’s reign.

The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the Workers’ Party of Korea, also boasted that it was the victory of the new Byeongjin route proposed by President Kim that captured the target of the strongest national defense force and stored formidable offensive and crushing power. military power in a few years.

In the future, they appear to have expressed their intention to change the US negotiating method with North Korea in the medium and long term as they advance the nuclear force on their own schedule.
