[전국]Another 19 confirmed patients at Ulsan Nursing Hospital…”There are no beds to transfer patients”

[앵커]

Another pile of confirmed cases came out of the nursing hospital in Ulsan where the coronavirus outbreak occurred.

The number of confirmed cases continues to increase in cohorts, that is, hospitals that are isolated from the same group, but the situation is getting worse as there are no local beds to transfer patients.

Reporter Kim In-cheol reports.

This is Ulsan Yangjiyoyang Hospital in the same group quarantine state.

There were another pile of confirmed cases that did not come out for a few days.

Inpatients, administrative staff, and nurses were confirmed, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 220.

The number of non-confirmed patients in the hospital from 360 had decreased to 140.

The confirmed and non-confirmed people live on different floors, but because they are in one building, there is a high risk of infection.

After the confirmed person came out, dozens of people came out each time they were tested for infection four times.

Therefore, it is being pointed out whether the infection is spreading when hospital workers come into contact with patients.

Ulsan City is promoting the transfer of patients, but there are no beds.

There is no room in dedicated hospitals, and consultation with private hospitals is not easy due to problems such as moving existing inpatients.

We know a solution to an unstoppable mass infection that requires the patient to be transferred to another hospital, but the time is frustrating for the shortage of local beds.
