[인터뷰] ‘Inconvenient life’ Jung Ga-eun “My driving force is my daughter, I want to be a proud mother”

Actress Jung Ga-eun (45) challenged herself to be the first one-top star with ‘An Insignificant Life’.

Jung Ga-eun played the role of Lee Seon, the main character who goes on a time trip in the movie ‘An Insignificant Life’ (directed by Seo Dong-heon).

This work is a time slim fantasy melodrama that tells the story of a woman who travels through time right before her death.

When asked about the reason for appearing, he said, “I heard that the director thought of me at first. When I said I wouldn’t do it, he said he tried to change the content itself from a female lead to a male one. At first, when I received the script, I thought that I was the kind of person who would star in a movie. However, after receiving the script, the situation Lee Seon was in was similar to mine, and I thought that I could do it by empathizing with Lee Seon.”

“When Lee Seon is about to take the college entrance exam, his mother disappears, leaving behind only debts. I was also in a disadvantageous situation, so I sympathized,” he said. “When I was doing a weekend drama, I went to the acting teacher with the script and practiced. Analyzing the script is important this time, but I thought a lot about my feelings for Lee Seon and tried to faithfully express them.”

“It was my first one-top lead role. I thought I should do it without being condescending and being considerate of each and every camera director. When I was doing tvN’s ‘Roller Coaster’, I worked thinking only of myself. I couldn’t see how hard it was for other people. As I got older and experienced a lot, I realized that it wasn’t just me who was having a hard time, that everyone was having a hard time. I acted while thinking about how I could get along with the staff and make it well together.”

Jung Ga-eun put in a lot of effort to become Lee Seon. Since he was a role in his 20s, he took care of his appearance, and he also lost weight.

He said, “Actually, I am in my mid-40s, but Lee Seon is in his 20s. He wondered how he could look like he was in his 20s. Of course, I had to show it in terms of acting, and I shouldn’t have a sense of difference in terms of appearance, so I put my hair on long and did a lift. Normally, I tend to gain 4-5kg more weight in the winter, but I lost 7-8kg because there was a bikini scene. He thoroughly managed his diet and stopped eating late-night snacks. He did a lot of swimming and Pilates,” he said.

Regarding the kissing scene in the play, he said, “I had a kissing scene with Yang Se-hyung in a drama and a kissing scene in a web drama. Her daughter wanted to watch the movie, but she had to block it out because of the level of the kissing scene.”

Jung Ga-eun married Kim, a businessman of the same age, in January 2016, but divorced after two years of marriage. She left a daughter behind. He said that he applied for a change of her daughter’s last name, saying, “They say it will take a long time. She has applied to the court and is waiting.”

Having a busy day as a single mother and working mother, she said, “I am so grateful that I am receiving a lot of help from my mother. take care of the housekeeping So you can work hard. Instead, when taking care of the child, I am trying my best to focus on the child.”

“My child is my driving force. Before and after giving birth is different. The mindset at work has also changed. Even if it’s hard, you can do anything for your child.

combative If I get a chance, I want to play any role. As long as it is not embarrassing to the child, it is unconditionally okay,” he said, revealing his passion.

“Whether it’s a big role or a small role, it’s important to me. She wants to be a proud mom. Even if she is not a great actress, I want to be that kind of mother who does her job diligently. Everyone sometimes thinks why my life has nothing to do with it. She feels a sense of relative deprivation when she sees her gorgeous appearance on social media. Wouldn’t everyone be like that? Still, if you look at it, everyone seems to have a ‘special business’ life. I will also live hard this year without being anxious.”
