[영상] “Corona deficit to fire”… ‘Fire’ in Myeongdong cosmetics store

On the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday, today (14th), around 5 am, a fire broke out in a cosmetics store in the middle of Myeong-dong, Seoul.

The fire burned most of the three stores, and was caught in about three hours.

The firefighting authorities put 22 equipments and 250 people to work on fire fighting.

No one stayed inside the building at the time of the fire, so no human injury occurred.

However, a 65-year-old man nearby went home after receiving on-site treatment after drinking smoke.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.

It is said that one of the cosmetic stores that suffered fire damage had fallen to the normal 2% level after Corona 19.
