– Myanmar police prosecute Aung San Suu Kyi’s state adviser for violating the import and export law and have decided to detain it until the 15th.
Reuters news agency reported on the 3rd (local time) that the police were prosecuting shame torture after the coup, citing local media and party officials.
Reportedly, military officials discovered a small wireless device while searching the home of a shame torture. The device was illegally imported and used without permission, police explained.
Suu Kyi’s adviser was detained at the time of the military’s full-blown coup in the early morning of the 1st, and is currently under house arrest in the capital, Naepido.
