Mayor Oh appeared in front of the court at around 10:50 a.m. on the 18th for a warrant examination held at 11:30 a.m. at the Busan District Court. Oh, the former mayor went straight to the court without revealing any other position.

On the 15th, the prosecution filed a preliminary arrest warrant for the mayor on the 15th, applying four charges including forced harassment. According to the former mayor, in addition to the previous forced harassment, another charges of harassment and innocence were added to the arrest warrant claim.

Attorney Choi In-seok, former mayor’s legal representative, said, “I admit the charges, but I do not remember. I am sorry to the citizens of Busan and the victims,” said Oh, on behalf of the mayor.

The warrant examination was conducted by the hearing of the chief judge Kim Kyung-jin. Whether it is issued or not is expected to be decided later this afternoon.
