A mutant virus originating in Brazil was found in a sample of a patient who was confirmed to be confirmed at the Incheon Airport Quarantine Station.

The confirmed person arrived at Incheon International Airport on the 10th after leaving Brazil and via Germany.

The possibility of transmission to the community seems to be low, as it was quarantined at the airport quarantine and no additional patients, including four in-flight contacts, appeared.

With the confirmation of the mutant virus from Brazil, the number of domestic mutant virus infection patients increased to 18, including 15 from the UK and 2 from South Africa.

Accordingly, the quarantine standards for overseas visitors have also been strengthened.

In the meantime, you only have to undergo an infection test within three days after entering the country, but from now on, you must be tested within a day.
