In the place where reporter Kim is out, you can get diagnostic tests starting today, right?

[기자]

Yes, it is.

This place was originally an athletic center and will be operated as a temporary screening clinic for the next three weeks.

After a while, it starts operating at 10 am.

It’s the first day of operation, and it’s still before the inspection starts, so there aren’t many people waiting.

From today, anyone can receive a diagnostic test even if they are not subject to epidemiological investigations or have no symptoms.

This is to implement a large-scale preemptive inspection in response to the spread of Corona 19 according to the government policy.

There are 3 locations in Dongjak-gu, including the Heukseok Sports Center, where I am listed, and Sadang Cultural Center.

Existing health center screening clinics can still be used.

Extended operation until 9 pm on weekdays.

More than 140 employees and 10 people related to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the police, and soldiers are engaged in screening clinics and epidemiological investigations, and Dongjak-gu Medical Association also volunteers to collect samples at screening clinics.

Temporary screening clinics will be installed at 150 in the metropolitan area and 56 in Seoul alone.

Free testing is greatly expanded as it is built around Seoul Station, Yongsan Station, major university districts, and areas where group infections have occurred.

There are 810 people who support epidemiological investigations, including military, police, and probationary officials.

It is scheduled to operate for the next three weeks until the 3rd of next year and is open not only on weekdays, but also on weekends and holidays.

The screening is also conducted anonymously by providing only a mobile phone number.

This is to prevent avoidance of testing.

In addition to the PCR test in which a cotton swab is placed in the nose, a saliva test and a rapid antigen test that can confirm the result in 30 minutes are also newly introduced.

However, the quarantine authorities plan to induce the selection of the PCR method with the highest accuracy among them.

The third pandemic is characterized by’quiet spread’.

The government has set the’intensive inspection period’ for the next three weeks until the 3rd of next month.

In order to find potential sources of infection in advance, the quarantine authorities repeatedly urged citizens to actively participate in the test.
