Today, the first holiday since the start of the Corona 19 vaccination, the number of new confirmed cases is expected to reach the mid-300 range.

It is not a situation to be relieved as group infections continue to occur ahead of school opening this week.

Reporter Kim Joo-hwan reports.

Yesterday, the first weekend after the start of the Corona 19 vaccination, was followed by confirmed cases across the country.

Group infections followed at business sites in the metropolitan area.

There were 307 new confirmed cases who were positive by 9 pm yesterday.

248 people in the metropolitan area, 80.8%, and 59 people in the non-metropolitan area, 19.2%.

Given this trend, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of today’s 0:00 is expected to reach the mid-300 range.

As such, the number of new confirmed cases peaking in the middle of this month is recording 3~400 people a day.

It doesn’t increase significantly, but it doesn’t decrease.

Even if vaccination has started, the quarantine authorities are urging that tensions should not be delayed as it is still in its early stages.
