Today, the March 1st, in downtown Seoul, a conservative group’s simultaneous rally is held.

It is going to rain all day, but the groups are in a position that the assembly will be carried out as scheduled.

The court allowed only small gatherings of 20 to 30 people due to infection concerns.

It’s raining outside right now. How’s the meeting situation?

[기자]

A conservative group’s assembly is scheduled to start in the Gwanghwamun area in Seoul from 11 am today.

This is the whole area of Gwanghwamun that our reporter took out early in the morning.

My career has been assigned to the Gwanghwamun area, and today it rains, but as it is a small rally, we plan to hold the rally without changing the schedule.

Looking at today’s rally schedule, the Free Korea Team will hold a rally with a maximum of 20 people near Gwanghwamun, Seoul from 11 am, and at the same time, the Free Democratic People’s Movement will hold a press conference in front of the Sejong Cultural Center.

Our Republican Party has announced small-scale gatherings in 150 places in Seoul, including near subway stations and traditional markets, and from 1 p.m., the Taegeukgi Revolutionary National Headquarters will hold a rally in the Myeong-dong area.

Vehicle demonstrations by the National Solidarity and National Solidarity are also scheduled in various places.

The biggest worry is the spread of infection.

The quarantine authorities also asked to cancel the urban rally, right?

[기자]

Yes, it is.

The quarantine authorities also requested that the 3/1 urban rally be canceled as much as possible so that Corona 19 does not spread again.

Kwon Deok-cheol, the first deputy head of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, said at a critical script meeting held at the government office in Seoul on the 1st, saying that the painful memories of the infection spreading through the Gwanghwamun rally on Liberation Day last year are still vivid.

He emphasized that if a rally was held, the reported number of people should be kept, and that quarantine rules such as wearing a mask and keeping distance are strictly followed, and that no meals are held after the rally.

The police also repeatedly demanded that the participants of the assembly observe the quarantine rules, saying that they would respond strictly to any illegal assembly.

So far, the Ministry of Social Affairs has delivered it.
