On December 6, last year, it has been a second month since the 2.5th stage of the metropolitan area and the second stage of the non-metropolitan area were implemented.
Indeed, we looked at how the people were evaluating the current distancing measures.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare conducted a survey of 1,000 adults across the country for two days starting on the 27th of last month, and 8 out of 10 respondents answered that distancing was effective in preventing the third pandemic, and that it should have been raised more quickly.
In addition, more than 70% of the respondents said it was effective for banning private gatherings with more than 5 people.
However, as the high-intensity measures continued for a long time, it was found that many people were tired.
80% of the respondents said they feel tired due to distancing measures, and over half of them said that family meetings should be allowed, especially during the Lunar New Year holidays.
There was also a lot of awareness of the problem that distance distancing was not fair.
Less than half of the opinions that it was’fair to all citizens’.
In particular, close to 80% of the opinions that self-employed people who suffered damage due to business restrictions should be supported with national finances, but only 2 out of 10 respondents said they would pay more taxes for this.
