There were more than 100 confirmed cases of the Victory Altar at Yeongsaenggyo Bridge in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.

Most of them were found to have lived together in dormitories because of their elderly age, but the quarantine authorities have obtained and investigated a list of 500 members nationwide.

This is the worship service at the Victory Altar of Youngsenggyo in 2019.

The Victory Altar followed the order of banning gatherings after raising the distance, but he stopped by the altar every day and encouraged him to pray for five minutes.

After limited face-to-face worship was allowed last month, worship was resumed as usual.

However, it was found that in the dormitory where most of the confirmed cases occurred, several people lived in a small space and shared a restaurant, shower, and laundry room.

Most of the confirmed believers so far are middle-aged people in their 50s or older.

The first suspected patient, A, in her 50s who was living here, had symptoms such as coughing from the 3rd, but only after 4 days after the school student was confirmed.

Youngsenggyo was founded in 1981, the headmaster Jo Hee-sung.

The core doctrine was that if you believe in yourself, you can live forever. Jo died in 2004 after being tried after being involved in a massacre of Shinto in the 1990s.

Gyeonggi-do inspected four altars in the province, including Bucheon and Suwon, and conducted a total inspection on 147 confirmed believers.

Of these, 31 were reported to be out of contact or refuse to be tested.

The quarantine authorities have also secured a list of 517 members nationwide, and are conducting field inspections with the police.
