The number of new corona 19 confirmed cases in Korea has increased to 400 in six days.

As the outbreak continues in hospitals and religious facilities in the metropolitan area, and the number of people infected with the mutant virus is increasing rapidly, the quarantine authorities are unable to slow down the tension.

As of 0 o’clock today, there are all 444 new cases of Corona 19.

It was more than a hundred people from the previous day, which was 300 people, and it has risen to 400 people in six days.

This is because group infection continues in the metropolitan area, with 53 people being confirmed diagnosed at religious facilities and moisturizing academies in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.

In addition, the number of mutant virus infected with strong transmission power increased by 26 yesterday alone, raising concerns that it may not be a primer for re-proliferation.

Looking at the path of infection, domestic outbreaks were 414 and foreign inflows were 30.

There are still many domestic occurrences with 344 people in the metropolitan area.

Seoul 169, Gyeonggi 157 and Incheon 18.

Outside the metropolitan area, Busan is the largest with 18, Daegu and Gwangju each with 14, and Gyeongnam with 9.

Six out of 30 foreign inflow cases were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The number of deaths increased by 4 to 1,486.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 5 to 184.

Here, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun said that the Lunar New Year holiday starting tomorrow will be a significant crossroads for Corona 19, and once again requested compliance with the quarantine regulations.

He also mentioned that this year’s department store New Year’s gift sales increased by 50% from last year, the highest ever, and that it was because more people convey their hearts with gifts instead of meetings.

He said that he was grateful to the people for putting up with longing for the holidays and helping to fight quarantine.
