Recently, a confirmed case of’mutant virus’ that has not stayed abroad was the first in Korea.

It happened during the airport pick-up process.

On the 19th of last month, Mr. A entered the country from England and entered self-isolation.

Then, the next day, I was diagnosed with Corona 19, and the investigation was confirmed as a mutant virus.

The problem is that four family members, including parents and younger brothers and sisters, met by the airport.

Five people up to Mr. A moved in one vehicle.

Three of the family members have been diagnosed with the mutant virus, and one is waiting for the test results.

Unlike foreigners, Korean residents with an address in Korea can choose between facilities and self-isolation.

Usually, the self-isolation accommodation set by the local government requires you to pay about 100,000 won per day.

They may choose to use private accommodation at a fraction of the cost or quarantine themselves.

There are many rules of self-isolation that must be followed.

What you’re seeing now is the’domestic person’ rule for self-quarantine.

However, detection of violations is not easy in reality.

Among domestic partners, workers in group facilities are’recommended’ to restrict work until the date of self-quarantine release, but there is literally no compulsory situation.

If so, minimize contact from entry to home.

For example, there are opinions that the use of quarantine taxis or quarantine buses should be further strengthened, or at least the number of pickups should be limited.

In addition, there are voices that the self-isolator is left alone at home, but it is necessary to further revitalize the’safe accommodation’ where families who can live daily life separately in a third accommodation.

The cost is also relatively cheaper than facility isolation.

Lastly, all foreigners entering the country are now obligated to submit a negative PCR confirmation, but Koreans are limited to the UK and South Africa.
