This is a series of exclusive reports from YTN regarding allegations of illegal mask sales fraud by incumbent police officers and court officials who were former gangsters.

These gangs submitted fake test reports to the Food and Drug Administration to obtain permission for sale, but the police are investigating the alleged adhesion between the company and the Food and Drug Administration.

Masks that were not approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety were sold for cash only.

Then, when the mask crisis subsided, we got permission from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety to sell genuine masks.

[공장 관계자 : 회사를 새로 설립을 해서 KF94 허가를 받은 거예요. 그래서 우린 정상적인 일을 해왔고….]

However, the test report submitted to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety was revealed as a counterfeit document as a result of a police investigation.

These are figures that differ from actual product measurements, such as the weight of the lining material.

An official from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety admitted that he failed to carefully examine the contents of the report, saying, “We were also deceived.”

In September of last year, the police confiscated and searched the Food and Drug Administration and arrested two officials.

In addition, we are expanding the investigation of suspicions of solicitation by capturing the circumstances of contact between the company and KFDA officials with permission.

The company countered that not everything was true.
