On September 23, at 1 in the morning, the Blue House countermeasures meeting.
About three hours have passed since the killing of the late Lee Dae-jun.
Prosecutors believe then-NIS director Park Ji-won, who attended the meeting, returned to the mission around 3:00 am and instructed Chief of Staff Noh Eun-chae to “erase the intelligence” .
Indeed, on two occasions, the indictment stated that 4 NIS reports and 51 espionage cases had been leaked from the internal computer network.
Subsequently, Secretary-General Roh received a report from a job-level official that “the order has been carried out” and even sent a reply.
The prosecution is judging the NIS meeting report at the time as key material evidence.
As a result of MBC’s coverage, this document states that “related security measures have been discussed under the direction of the Director of the National Intelligence Service.”
It is the prosecution’s judgment that the phrase “security measures” was a short-term strike order.
There is also an instruction in the document to ‘check if it is possible to delete messages that have already been propagated’.
However, according to the same document, the NIS Situation Room told former Director Park that it was impossible to delete text messages at the time.
In particular, it was confirmed that the 3rd Deputy Director who manages the computer network reported that “all information distributed has been recovered, but the original is preserved”.
Therefore, former Director Park’s claim is that it was not a cancellation order, but a normal level of “maintaining security”.

“You weren’t asked to delete anything.”
Ultimately, the court battle between the two sides is expected to be fierce over the disappearance of copies of the intelligence from military and intelligence agencies in the early stages of the incident, whether it be a “clearing order” or a ” security order”. to measure’.
