A little while ago, there was pure white snow in Seoul.

Now the snow has stopped and the cloudy sky continues.

However, it became very cold with snow.

Currently, the temperature in Seoul is at 1.8 degrees, the cold wind blows strongly, and the perceived temperature is below zero.

On the way home from work today, please wear warm clothing to prevent cold winds.

Until tonight, up to 5cm of snow will fall and accumulate in the inland mountains including Gangwon.

In other parts of the central and northern regions, about 1cm of snow will fall.

The west coast and Jeju Island will have heavy snowfall until Friday, New Year’s Day.

Snow is expected to be up to 50 cm or more in the mountains of Jeju and 30 cm or more in the western part of Honam.

Please prepare well in advance to avoid damage to facilities caused by heavy snow.

Arctic chills will come overnight and temperatures will drop significantly.

A cold wave warning was issued in some areas of Gangwon and Gyeonggi, and a cold wave warning was issued in the central and northern regions of Gyeongbuk.

Tomorrow morning, the temperature will drop to -16 degrees below zero in Cheorwon, 15 degrees below zero in Paju, and 12 degrees below zero in Seoul.

The cold breeze blows and the temperature you feel will plummet to -20 degrees below zero.

Even in the daytime, a strong cold in the sub-zero zone will continue throughout the day.

It will be 8 degrees below zero in Seoul, 5 degrees below zero in Daejeon, and 3 degrees below zero in Gwangju, 11 to 13 degrees lower than today.

The strong cold wave will continue until the beginning of the year.

The morning temperature in Seoul will drop to -12 degrees the day after tomorrow, and to -10 degrees in the New Year’s Friday.

There is a concern about damage to facilities as heavy snow overlaps with the intense cold wave.
