Even furniture was thrown out of the door.
Abandoned protesters’ placards and bitter fire extinguishers are scattered on the messy office floor.
Glass fragments scattered all over the place.
A spear called a spear seems to have broken and smashed the visible foot.
Bullet traces can also be found on the marble floor.
On the bust of Zachary Taylor, the 12th President of the United States, on display in the Congress Hall, there is also a clear trace of the unknown who left it.
But what the protesters were targeting appears to be the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Many of the household items were stolen.
One of the demonstrators stands with their feet on Chairman Pelosi’s desk with a face of joy.
Senator Elizabeth McDonough and Senator Jeff Merckley’s offices are also known to have suffered significant damage.
Shortly after the tense confrontation between the police and the protesters, the protesters took over Congress in an instant and left disastrous traces throughout the heart of American democracy.
