The king of Sweden, who tried to’collective immunity’ in response to Corona 19, which is rare in the world, eventually officially declared a quarantine failure.
Since the early days of the coronavirus outbreak, Sweden has been attracting attention by choosing measures to increase self-immunity through voluntary distancing and loose quarantine instead of active control.

Sweden attracted great attention by promoting collective immunity to increase the immunity of the whole people through low-intensity quarantine.
Eventually, the quarantine was declared a failure.
King Carl Gustaf, the 16-year-old Swedish king, said in an annual Christmas interview on public broadcaster SVT, “I think we have failed.”
King Gustav, who usually refrains from commenting on politics, criticized the government’s inadequate response, saying, “Many people have died and this is terrible.”

The king said, “The Swedish people suffered enormously under difficult conditions,” and said, “If you fail to say goodbye to your family after parting with your family, it will be very difficult and will remain scars.”
He was recently convicted of his son, Prince Carl Philip and his wife, and was self-isolated.
Sweden, which chose collective immunity from the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, now has 350,000 confirmed cases and 7,900 deaths, far more than neighboring countries.
Sweden, where the number of confirmed cases increased sharply from April, showed a decline in the spreading trend from late June to early October.
At this time, there were premature evaluations that collective immunity was successful, but Swedish authorities explained that it was the result of consistent quarantine.

Local media and opposition parties criticize the government’s response to the coronavirus being too low.
A committee that recently independently investigated Sweden’s quarantine measures also pointed out that the government and health authorities have not been able to keep the people safe.
