A Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force submarine collides with a civilian ship.
The accident was also a problem, but as the fact that the report was made on a mobile phone after three and a half hours became known, the Maritime Self-Defense Force’s crisis management was on the cutting board.

The submarine’s right-hand dive is bent badly.
The accident was caused by the Marine Self-Defense Force’s submarine’Soryu’.
While floating above the water in the southern sea of Kochi Prefecture, Japan, it collided with a 50,000-ton Hong Kong ship.
At the time, I checked this ship with a periscope, but I couldn’t escape and crashed.
There was no such damage to civilian ships, but part of the submarine’s hull was damaged and three crew members were injured.

The accident itself is also a problem, but the reporting process also revealed loopholes.
Reports were delayed by three and a half hours, as all communication functions in the submarine were cut off in a crash.
It also moved to an area where communication was possible and was only able to report on a mobile phone.
As this situation became known, it was pointed out that there was a problem with the Maritime Self-Defense Force’s crisis management.

Hiroshi Yamamura, head of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, admitted at a press conference, “We could not assume a situation where all communications would be cut off.”
He said, “This is unacceptable,” he said.
We are also investigating whether this accident occurred during training after regular inspections were human resources or technical defects.
The Maritime Security Administration sends an investigation team of 40 people to the site to check the damaged hull.
