Russian troops arrived in Belarus, an ally of Russia, to form an allied force.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense said that the first Russian troops belonging to the Allied regional forces arrived in Belarus and that the mission of the Russian army was limited to strengthening the border defenses.
At the beginning of the 10th, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the two countries had agreed to deploy a combined regional force and that more than 1,000 Russian soldiers would be deployed.
Since the late 1990s, Russia and Belarus have been preparing for the creation of the “allied state” and have a close relationship that is more than an alliance.
