Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said he would like to speak directly with Chairman Kim Jong-un to resolve the problem of Japanese abduction by North Korea.
Prime Minister Suga said in an interview with the Sankei Shimbun today (3rd) that he is following the policy of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that he is willing to meet directly with Chairman Kim Jong-un without any conditions.
Prime Minister Suga also noted that China is showing ambition to participate in the Pacific Rim Economic Partnership Agreement and the TPP, but he believes that the current political and economic system will be difficult.
Conversely, he stressed that if US President-elect Joe Biden takes office, he will urge the United States to return to the Pacific Rim Economic Partnership Agreement.
Japanese Prime Minister Suga also explained that we will ensure that all Japanese citizens can get the Corona 19 vaccine, and that we are preparing to start vaccinating it as soon as possible.
Regarding the issue of constitutional amendment, Prime Minister Suga thinks it is natural to move toward amendment.
He added that he wanted to challenge properly.
