An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia, killed more than 40 people and wounded hundreds.
As the aftershock continues, more damage is expected.

In Mamuju, western Sulawesi, Indonesia, a magnitude 6.2 earthquake occurred at the dawn of the 15th local time.
The epicenter was relatively shallow at a depth of 18.4 km, but the earthquake hit at the time of a deep sleep at 2:30 in the morning, causing great damage.
Indonesian disaster authorities have counted dozens of people dead and hundreds injured so far.
However, at the time, hotels and hospitals also collapsed, and the number of deaths was expected to increase as there were many missing persons.
The Magene disaster authorities near Mamuju also announced that at least four people were killed, more than 600 people were injured, and more than 3,000 people were displaced.
According to local media, the Mamuju and Magenee neighborhoods have shown signs since yesterday.
After the main earthquake that shook the dawn, aftershocks have followed.
