After a strong earthquake of 7.3 on the Richter scale took place off the coast of Fukushima, Japan on the night of the 13th, aftershocks of magnitude 5 or more occurred three times in nearby waters.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said last night (15th) at 9:26 a magnitude 5.3 earthquake occurred off the coast of Fukushima.
The epicenter was 50 km deep, and the Japan Meteorological Agency said there was no fear of a tsunami.
Earlier, on the 14th at 4:31 p.m., an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred, and at 3:25 a.m. on the same day, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred off the coast of Iwate Prefecture, north of Fukushima.
