These are the heat vest products you find a lot online.
Thermal vests are popular in cold weather these days as they can be connected to a spare battery to keep warm throughout the wearer.
The vest type is common, and there are also backpack types that only warm the back.
However, as a result of consumer research, a low-temperature burn risk was found in some products.
According to the electrical appliance safety standards, the surface temperature of clothing that generates heat must not exceed 50 degrees, but 4 products exceeded this.
Some products of Nepa Safety, Swiss Military, K2 and Kolping are not suitable.
In the high temperature stage, Nepa Safety products averaged 52 degrees, Swiss Military products averaged 64 degrees, K2 products averaged 57 degrees, and Kolping products averaged 63 degrees.
Consumer sources pointed out that the products have the potential for low-temperature burns, which can cause burns after prolonged contact.
When the results of the investigation came out, all manufacturers responded that they would voluntarily carry out the recall.

Consumers advised special attention when using it as it is a heating product.
First of all, they point out that the proper power source is indicated for each clothing, but if the correct battery is not used, it may cause burns.
They also emphasized that they should wear a shirt that does not come into direct contact with the skin when wearing them, and that they should refrain from using them if their perception of temperature drops, such as children or diabetics.
