[경제]Coupang “Contract delivery staff also has stocks… worth 2 million won per person”

Coupang, ahead of listing on the New York Stock Exchange in the United States, today (15th) unveiled its plans to give free stock to field employees.

In an email sent to employees in the morning, Kang Seung, CEO of Coupang’s business management, said in an email addressed to employees that the one-time share grant program being held, they will receive about 2 million won worth of shares.

As of March 5, this year, Coupang delivery staff, regular staff at the distribution center, regular staff and contract staff at Coupang and its subsidiaries, and employees who have been granted stocks are excluded.

Stocks distributed to them are so-called contingent stocks that are limited to transfer, and if you work for one year from the date you receive the stock, you receive 50%, and if you work for two years, you receive the remaining 50%.

Coupang said the email was sent only to the target audience and plans to announce the number of shares granted individually.
