The government has decided to provide a special fund worth 38 trillion won to households and businesses ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
We decided to increase the supply of holy goods, such as cabbages and apples, that are in high demand for holidays, by 1.4 times compared to normal.

With the prolonged COVID-19 outbreak, the difficulties of people’s livelihoods expanded and the uncertainty of the common people’s prices increased due to the cold wave, the government came up with measures to stabilize the livelihood of the people.
First, a special fund for the New Year of 38 trillion won, which is 2 trillion won or more, is provided to households and businesses.
The maturity of the existing loans of Korea Development Bank and IBK of KRW 1.1 trillion and guarantees for new and notified books will also be extended.
Labor incentives and children’s incentives for low-income households are paid at an early age of KRW 114.7 billion in February and March.
In addition, an emergency employment stabilization support fund of 1 million won will be provided to 50,000 new applicants for special type workers and freelancers.
An additional KRW 30,000 briquette coupon is provided to 53,000 households of low-income families, including basic beneficiaries and the second-class.
