This Saturday morning (April 17th, 2021) around 400 fans of the 1. FCS gathered at the Ludwigsparkstadion to say goodbye to their team for the upcoming game against 1. FCK. This resulted in massive traffic disruptions for a short time due to the fans present, who partially blocked Camphauser Strasse and set off a large number of pyrotechnics. For safety reasons, the lane was completely closed for about ten minutes.
The action will have consequences for a large number of the FCS fans present. The emergency services on site videotaped the entire ten-minute scene, so that appropriate proceedings for violations of the Weapons and Explosives Act and the Corona Ordinance (VoCP) can now be initiated against the persons concerned.
For the FCS team’s upcoming return trip tonight, the state police headquarters will point out in advance that the police will react accordingly to any gatherings and will systematically document and punish violations of the VoCP or other violations.
In this context, the police urged all fans to adhere to the applicable Corona regulations.
