On Tuesday afternoon at around 3 p.m., two meeting cyclists collided on the Brunckstrasse cycle path. As a result of the collision, both cyclists fell on the street and one of the cyclists, a 51-year-old man from Frankenthal, was hit by a passing car. The 51-year-old suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital for treatment by ambulance services. The other cyclist, a 33-year-old man from the Rhein-Neckar district, was slightly injured.
