A police patrol stopped a 53-year-old cyclist on Thursday (February 18, 2021) at 9.23 p.m. when he tried to drive onto the B44 in the direction of Bad Dürkheim. During the inspection, the police noticed a strong odor of alcohol. An alcohol test showed 1.61 per mille. The 53-year-old then had to be taken to a police station where a blood sample was taken.
